Из-за ежегодного роста численности владельческих и безнадзорных плотоядных (собак и кошек) создаются условия для широкого распространения паразитарных инвазий. Целью наших исследований явилось определение экстенсивности инвазии (ЭИ) собак и кошек отодектозом в районах г. Санкт-Петербург и изучение эффективности препарата OKVET, разработанного компанией ООО «НВЦ Агроветзащита» при отодектозе кошек. Для достижения цели были обследованы 98 собак и 109 кошек, у которых исследовали соскобы с наружной и внутренней поверхностей ушной раковины. Было установлено, что ЭИ у всех обследованных кошек и собак равнялась 17,8%. При этом ЭИ среди кошек – 16,4%; собак – 1,4%. Для изучения эффективности препарата «OKVET» животные были разделены на 3 группы по 8 кошек в каждой с подтвержденным диагнозом на отодектоз. В день перед применением препарата в соскобах было обнаружено более 10 живых клещей на всех фазах развития, а также яйца Otodectes cynotis в одном п.з. микроскопа (ув. 10 Х 10). На 28 день после применения препарата было отмечено наличие не более двух живых клещей в фазе имаго и яйца в одном п.з. микроскопа. Установлена эффективность препарата 91,6% в дозе 1 пипетка объемом 0,5 мл на животное, при массе более 8 кг – 2 пипетки по 0,5 мл, двукратно с интервалом 10 дней.
Due to the annual growth in the number of domestic and neglected carnivores (dogs and cats), conditions are created for the wide spread of parasitic infestations. The aim of our research was to determine the extensiveness of the invasion of dogs and cats by otodectosis in the districts of St. Petersburg and to study the effectiveness of the OKVET preparation developed by LLC NVC Agrovetzashchita in otodectosis of cats. It was found that the extensiveness of invasion (EI) in all examined cats and dogs was 17.8%. At the same time, EI among cats is 16.4%; dogs - 1.4%. To study the effectiveness of the OKVET preparation, the animals were divided into 3 groups of 8 cats each with a confirmed diagnosis of otodectosis. On the day before the use of the drug, more than 10 live mites were found in scrapings in all phases of development, as well as eggs of Otodectes cynotis in one p.z. microscope (magnification 10 X 10). On the 28th day after the application of the drug, the presence of no more than two live ticks in the adult phase and eggs in one p.z. was noted. microscope. Efficacy of the drug was 91.6% at a dose of 1 pipette of 0.5 ml per animal, with a weight of more than 8 kg - 2 pipettes of 0.5 ml, twice with an interval of 10 days.
