Abstract
The article highlights the results of a study of the morphological parameters of the liver in the age aspect of 1-, 10-, 20-, 30-, 40-, 50- diurnal quails of the Pharaoh breed, as well as organ changes, taking into account the addition of the probiotic Vetom 1,2 and the multivitamin complex Chiktonik to the basic diet. The aim of the work was to establish the effect of the probiotic Vetom 1,2 and the multivitamin complex Chiktonik on the postembryonic organogenesis of the liver of Pharaoh quails. During the research, the effect of the probiotic drug «Vetom 1,2» and the multivitamin complex «Chiktonik» on the growth and development of the wall digestive gland of Pharaoh quails was revealed. It was found that the highest relative liver weight of quails was observed at the age of 30 days (especially among birds of the 1st experimental and control groups), and then there was a gradual decrease in this indicator (by 1,30 %). The relative weight of the 2 experimental groups was approximately the same throughout the study (from 3,10 % at 10 days of age to 2,90 % at 50 days). The absolute mass of the liver progresses markedly from 10 days to 50 days of age, and in birds of the experimental groups it reaches its maximum on day 50. It is also worth noting that the birds of the control group (up to 40 days of age) were the leader in absolute liver mass for most of the experiment. The parameters of the right and left lobes of the liver have pronounced differences, starting from the age of 30 days in quails. Birds from the group that received only mixed feed showed better development of the left lobe, but the parameters of the right lobe were not much smaller. In quails from the 1st experimental group, the left lobe significantly prevailed over the right, while in quails from the 2nd experimental group, on the contrary, the right lobe was better developed than the left.
